Hey there! 🎮 I'mRekinu– or justRekto my friends – and I'm the founder of D1 Arena. I'm a husband, a proud dad of four amazing kids (two boys and two girls), and a lifelong gamer with 27+ years of experience under my belt. My family is everything to me, and D1 Arena is the dream I've been chasing in every spare hour I've got. It's a weird balance between being Dad, being a husband, and being the guy losing sleep over a tournament bracket bug at 2 AM – but it's mine, and I wouldn't trade it. How D1 Arena started D1 Arena wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born out of years of frustration running and playing in competitive gaming events that just didn't work right. Clunky brackets. Payouts that took forever. Support tickets that went into a black hole. Tools that felt glued together instead of built together. I kept thinking:"Why isn't there one place where you can host a tournament, stream it live, chat with your community, build a team, and get tipped by your viewers – without wiring up five different services?" So I started building it. Not by myself – I've had amazing people in the community believing in this along the way – but I was the one staying up late, obsessing over every detail, every workflow, every payout. Every feature you see on this platform exists because someone (often me) hit that exact pain point somewhere else and said"this should just work." Where D1 Arena is today What you're looking at is the result of thousands of hours of work. D1 Arena is afully in-house esports platform. We host tournaments (free entries and prize-pool events). We handle live streaming natively over multiple protocols. We run our own VOD and clip system. We built our own advertising stack. We run an AI-powered moderation pipeline on every image, every live feed, and every chat message. We have our own multi-currency wallet, our own broadcasting software alert and chat-TTS suite, and our own in-house Content ID system for copyrighted audio detection. Every piece of this isbuilt and owned by us. We ship updates multiple times a week. We support 17 languages out of the box, with live on-the-fly chat translation so viewers can understand each other regardless of their account language. We have a real production stack, real monitoring, and real humans (and a surprisingly helpful AI chatbot) behind every support ticket. Where we're going The mission hasn't changed one bit. D1 Arena is going to bethe home for competitive gaming– from the backyard skirmish to the weekend open tournament to the stacked sponsored event. Streaming, competing, communicating, monetizing – one platform, built for players, by a player. On the roadmap: native mobile companion apps, deeper streaming tools, more tournament formats, expanded advertiser and sponsorship rails, better payouts, more languages, and a whole lot of infrastructure nobody will ever see but everybody will feel when their next match loads instantly. I've got a long roadmap and I'm not slowing down. Outside D1 When I'm not online, you'll probably find me rolling around Houston with myVideo Game Truck🚛🎮. I bring all the latest consoles, all the games, and the party to birthdays, events, and anywhere folks want an excuse to game with friends. It keeps me grounded and it's a good reminder that at the end of the day, gaming is supposed to befun. Come say hi The easiest way to reach me is through our Discord –discord.gg/d1arena. That's where the community hangs out, where I answer questions myself when I can, and where the real conversations happen. Thanks for being here. Let's build something great together. – Rek ✌️🙂
