Repeat Infringers

Good Faith

Please note that misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in legal liability. We recommend consulting with a legal professional before submitting a notice.

User-Generated Content

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload any content, including profile images, team logos, and stream content. By uploading content, users represent that they own or have permission to use such content.

VOD and Clip Removal

If your copyrighted content appears in a VOD (Video on Demand) or Clip on D1 Arena:

  1. Identify the specific VOD or Clip URL containing your content
  2. Include timestamps if the infringement appears in a portion of the video
  3. Submit a takedown notice to our DMCA agent
  4. We will remove the infringing content within 24-48 hours of verification

Note: Repeated DMCA violations by a user may result in account termination.

Takedown Procedure

  1. Submit Notice: Send a complete DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent
  2. Review: We review notices for required information and prioritize them based on completeness, urgency, and applicable law; no fixed response time is promised
  3. Action: Valid notices result in content removal and notification to the uploader
  4. Counter-Notice: The uploader may file a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was in error
  5. Restoration: Content may be restored 10-14 business days after we receive a valid counter-notice, unless our Designated Copyright Agent first receives notice from the original claimant that they have filed an action seeking a court order to stop the uploader's allegedly infringing activity involving that content

Content ID System

In addition to the traditional DMCA takedown process, D1 Arena operates an in-house Content ID system powered by AcoustID for automatic audio fingerprinting. This system proactively detects copyrighted audio in streams and uploaded content.

  • Content ID matches generate automated content strikes separate from DMCA takedowns
  • Users may dispute Content ID matches if they believe the detection was in error or they have appropriate licensing
  • Content ID is a supplementary system and does not replace the formal DMCA process
  • Copyright holders may submit audio fingerprints for inclusion in our Content ID database
